Tomorrow is the opening for the Pokemon: Battle Royale exhibit at Light Grey Art Gallery in Minnesota! Wish I could be there to see the results, but unfortunately I am stuck here in Toronto. Here is my contribution for the show, Cloyster! Cloyster always was one of my favourites, and thankfully so - this piece took forever to finish! If you’re in the Minnesota area be sure to check out the show, it’s looking to be pretty brilliant.

Exciting news! My George McFly piece has been selected to be published in the upcoming American Illustration annual! Could not be happier, especially considering this year’s inspiring jury panel! This was a well needed boost of inspiration to keep working.

So sad to hear of Ralph McQuarrie’s death today! What an iconic concept artist. It only seems fitting that I finish this custom Chewbacca pin today in his honour. If you would like a custom Star Wars brooch (or any other character, for that matter), send a request my way!
